The Company is seeking an Executive Director for one of its senior living communities. The successful candidate will be the community leader, with a primary focus on creating a warm, compassionate, and secure atmosphere that promotes the independence and activity of all residents. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial, human resource, and operations management of the community, with the ultimate goal of maintaining a profitable operation. Key responsibilities include overseeing all community operations and departments, managing a large team, building relationships with residents and families, and working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to achieve full occupancy. The Executive Director will also be responsible for budget development, holding regular meetings with staff and residents, and being on-call 24/7 for emergency situations.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's senior living community should have a minimum of 3 years' of previous management experience in the senior housing industry, with a preference for a college degree. Advanced computer skills, excellent communication, a desire to work with senior adults, and strong leadership abilities are essential. The role requires the ability to solve complex operational and people problems, as well as experience in overseeing the financial success of multiple departments. The Executive Director must be willing to obtain a state administrator's certification within 90 days of employment if the role involves managing an assisted living building.
