About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Academic Advising to lead a strategic and centralized professional academic advising unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 6 direct reports and coordinating equity-based programs and services with a strong focus on student care, persistence, and graduation. This role requires the execution of a data-informed model to ensure innovative and consistent engagement with undergraduate students, particularly those in high-support and unique populations. The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining a culture of proactive advising and holistic student success, and will work in partnership with academic colleges and other campus stakeholders to develop advising practices that effectively support student needs and remove barriers to success.Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a proven track record in academic advising, with a deep understanding of the importance of a holistic and student-centered approach. The role demands a leader who can effectively manage a large team of professional academic advisors and foster a culture of collaboration and support.
