About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Assessment and Accreditation to oversee the planning, implementation, and utilization of assessment for student learning, with the ultimate goal of enhancing educational and institutional quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, analysis, and reporting of assessment at various levels, engaging with academic and non-academic units to support continuous improvement efforts, and assisting with HLC Liaison responsibilities. Essential duties include consulting on the development of learning outcomes and assessment plans, administering and providing training for assessment software solutions, and leading activities related to HLC accreditation. The role also involves co-chairing assessment committees, providing professional development resources, and managing the budget for assessment and accreditation activities.Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline, a minimum of 3 years' practical experience in student learning outcomes assessment, and a minimum of three years of practical experience with an institutional accreditor. The role requires excellent computer skills, particularly with databases, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office, as well as strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at establishing and maintaining effective relationships, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment. Responsibilities also include updating relevant institutional web pages and intranet, and the role demands a high level of professionalism, including regular attendance and the ability to work with tact and courtesy.
