About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Career Center, a key leadership role dedicated to the mission of preparing students for successful and meaningful careers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and financial planning, program development, and delivery of a wide range of career services. This includes overseeing a large team of professional staff, graduate assistants, and undergraduate student workers, and ensuring the effective implementation of programs that support the career development of students, alumni, and other stakeholders. The Executive Director will also be tasked with expanding the impact of the Career Center through strong external partnerships, particularly in the areas of corporate engagement and fundraising.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's Career Center should have a baccalaureate degree, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience. The role requires a proven track record in supervising professional staff, budget management, and leading career services in a higher education setting. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, capable of convening academic, industry, and government stakeholders, and will have experience in organizational strategy, data-driven decision-making, and change management. Key competencies include the ability to lead through innovation, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and mentor and coach staff. The Executive Director will be expected to be a highly visible leader, both on campus and beyond, and to build and strengthen partnerships that support the career outcomes of students.
