Primary Purpose:The Executive Director of Elementary Schools provides leadership, direction, and supervision for schools' efficient operational and academic management by directly supervising elementary principals. This position supports the continued growth of principals to increase effectiveness and is responsible for the supervision of assigned school leaders, continuous improvement of schools and ensuring student achievement gains at the school level.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification:Master's degree in administration or related field requiredDoctorate preferredValid Texas administrator's certificate required
  • Special Knowledge/Skills:Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skillsExcellent decision-making skillsAbility to resolve conflict and listen and appropriately respond to concernsDemonstrated skills in instructional and campus leadershipAbility to manage budget and personnelAbility to implement policy and proceduresAbility to interpret dataAbility to effectively evaluate and support campus leaders
  • Experience:Seven years of administrative or supervisory experience preferredThree or more years of experience as a school administrator requiredThree years of central office experience preferred
