About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of IT to lead the management and strategic alignment of its information technology infrastructure and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing enterprise applications, IT project management, systems and network technology, the Technology Services Center, and information security. This role is pivotal in leveraging technology to support academic operations, enhance efficiency, and foster innovation. The Executive Director will work closely with university leadership to develop and implement the technology strategy, ensuring that IT goals and objectives align with the mission of the university.Applicants must have a Master's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or business, with a minimum of 10 years' in the IT field and at least 5 years' in a management capacity. Proficiency in various IT areas is required, including technology support, applications, data, systems, networks, project management, and information security. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and meet their technology needs. Experience in higher education and instructional technology is beneficial. The Executive Director will also be responsible for managing a large IT team, prioritizing cybersecurity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
