Please visit !ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Director of Sales, the individual strives to exceed the hotel's rooms and food and beverage revenue goals. Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with business accounts and sourcing new business opportunities.Essential Job Functions:
  • Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Focus on leading the sales efforts in achieving or exceeding personal and property-wide annual revenue goals while maintaining the highest level of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Answer inquiries for business within established deadlines while maintaining a daily schedule of soliciting new business.
  • Research and solicit new business over the telephone, in person, or through exhibits at trade shows.
  • Conduct outside sales calls to new and existing clients.
  • Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Negotiate all sales contracts effectively.
  • Prepare and maintain corporate business files, records, correspondence, and reports to ensure compliance with established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accounts, contact, activity, and business details within appropriate software applications.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
  • Ensure prompt notification of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required along with 3 to 5 years of hotel sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.Additional Requirements:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in hotel software for catering sales such as Daylight or Delphi required.Work Environment:
  • May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
