Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for the execution of the organization's talent acquisition strategy. The Talent Acquisition Partner will source, qualify, and place highly-qualified candidates for management and office level positions, as well as support the talent placement efforts for the organization's high-volume, hourly positions, for example, hourly truck driver and safety-sensitive yard positions.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and executing recruiting efforts at all levels organizational levels including, but not limited to, management and office level professional services positions and, when required, recruitment for hourly productions positions.
- Builds and maintains relationships with management across the business as a trusted talent advisor, to ensure the ability to influence, guide and drive the attraction, recruiting and retention of top talent.
- Reaches agreement with hiring managers on recruitment strategy, to include commitments for sourcing, screening, selection and service levels for meetings and candidate feedback.
- Partners with management to create job specifications, essential job duties, key competencies, qualification and skills and prepare job descriptions to reflect the essential functions of a position.
- Coordinates/participates in staffing activities as assigned, including: posting job opportunities on job boards and in publications, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews and administering applicant assessments and entering information in applicant tracking database as assigned.
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience by effectively communicating with candidates and providing timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
- Create ongoing pipelines of prospective candidates utilizing various recruitment tools, including by not limited to: applicant tracking systems, job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, targeted outreach and recruitment events.
- Proactively sources passive candidate using available tools including, but not limited to, professional networking platforms, industry and community networking, referrals, and appropriate social media channels.
- Communicate offer decisions including but not limited to: notifying candidates that were not selected of hiring decision, determining and negotiating compensation packages, sharing offer details, sending corresponding forms and collecting signatures.
- Provides oversight for the applicant life cycle from candidate sourcing through the application, interviewing, offer letter, pre-employment, and onboarding process.
- Develops and maintains the recruiting process and evaluates on-going to identify process improvement opportunities. Maintains a dashboard of talent acquisition metrics to measure effectiveness and progress
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience utilizing an ATS for candidate management, preferably Tenstreet.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, organization, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiating skills
- Able to work independently, with minimal or no supervision, as well as in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to prioritize workload, while working in a fast paced & challenging environment
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, are a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of recruiting and placement experience, including a minimum of 2 years of professional services/office personnel recruiting and placement.
- Experience with FMCSA and/or DOT regulations helpful, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Able to speak with customers on the phone.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
