As a Full-Time Exempt Payroll Manager,you will be responsible for the oversight of payroll staff, implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Reconciles payroll accounts and assists with the development of the payroll system. Prepares necessary reports for state, federal, and other agencies (i.e., PERS, SAIF). Work with a high degree of independence and responsibility. Roseburg has live-ability, a friendly feel and is ready to be home to your next career and family adventure. QUALIFICATIONSQUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree, or a combination of education and experience commensurate with job duties.
  • 3 to 5 years of payroll experience, or formal training with majority of emphasis on payroll.
  • Working knowledge of Oregon and federal payroll laws and reporting requirements.
  • 3 years of experience with computerized office systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS:
  • SCT Banner payroll experience, preferred.
