What will your role be?

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Expeditor to join our team. In this critical role, you will ensure the smooth and timely flow of materials and components through our production processes to meet customer delivery schedules. You will also develop and maintain material plans to align with production goals and monitor progress to identify and address potential delays or bottlenecks.

Activities:

  • Execute on-time PO placement and conduct lead time analysis
  • Collaborate with stockroom partners to prioritize the orderbook and ensure alignment with scheduled priorities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and material plans to ensure they meet production goals
  • Analyze production data and adjust plans to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity, including reviewing part numbers, critical path part numbers, supplier performance, and risk analysis
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to synchronize material delivery schedules with production needs
  • Monitor and report on production progress, identifying and resolving potential delays or bottlenecks

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Expeditor or in a similar role, such as a Buyer
  • Proficient with ERP systems
  • Strong prioritization, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across the organization
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to lift and move material weighing up to 30 lbs
  • Experience in production planning and scheduling is highly desirable
