Job Summary: Middletown Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. This is a full-time hourly position in the Auto industry, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in detailing and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers. As an individual contributor, the Automotive Detailer will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of all vehicles on our lot, as well as providing support to our service and sales departments. Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive hourly wage - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holiday pay - 401(k) retirement plan with company match - Employee discounts on vehicle purchases and services - Ongoing training and career development opportunities Responsibilities: - Thoroughly clean, wash, and wax both the interior and exterior of vehicles - Vacuum, shampoo, and detail carpets and upholstery - Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and dashboards - Inspect vehicles for damage and report any findings to management - Touch up minor paint imperfections and perform paintless dent repair - Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing wiper blades and topping off fluids - Maintain cleanliness and organization of detailing supplies and equipment - Assist with moving vehicles on the lot and to and from the service department - Communicate effectively with service and sales team members to ensure timely vehicle preparation for customer pick-up - Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Detailer or similar role - Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of vehicle cleaning products and techniques - Familiarity with paintless dent repair and minor touch-up work - Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening EEOC Statement: Middletown Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
