Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Sell Odyssey's full suite of logistics services, including ocean freight (FTL and LTL), drayage, warehousing, distribution, and brokerage.
- Relationship Building: Manage an extensive Hawaii client book, identifying ways to expand service lines and upsell existing clients.
- New Business Development: Actively pursue new leads and engage with decision-makers to generate new business within a designated territory.
- Account Strategy: Work with stakeholders to ensure revenue goals and customer expectations are met, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service continuity.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Logistics/Freight Forwarding: 3-5+ years of demonstrated sales success within transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding is essential. Experience in high-touch client industries is a plus.
- Sales and Communication Skills - Demonstrated success in consultative sales, including presenting solutions, negotiating contracts, and nurturing long-term business relationships.
- Self-Motivated and Goal-Oriented - This role provides substantial flexibility, requiring a self-driven, proactive approach to reach targets. We seek individuals who thrive with autonomy.
- CRM Proficiency - Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems for tracking leads and managing client interactions is preferred.
- Team Alignment - Ability to work seamlessly with other team members and departments to support broader organizational objectives and client satisfaction.
