We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Coordinator to manage and oversee the logistics of exporting goods to international markets. This role involves coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining effective communication with clients, suppliers, and freight forwarders. The ideal candidate will have experience with USDA and veterinary certifications, a strong understanding of export processes, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the entire export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, USDA, and veterinary certification requirements.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and health certificates.
  • Work with government agencies, such as USDA, to obtain necessary approvals for export shipments.
  • Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other third-party logistics providers to arrange shipments and track deliveries.
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of goods to international clients.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the export process by collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics providers.
  • Maintain accurate records of export activities and generate reports for management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns related to shipments.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in export coordination, logistics, or international trade, including handling USDA and veterinary certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, shipping regulations, and customs requirements.
  • Familiarity with USDA export requirements and obtaining veterinary health certifications for shipments.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and logistics providers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, international trade, or a related field preferred but not required.
