Extra Help - Fleet Special Projects - City Of Bakersfield California : Job Details

Representative Duties Extra-Help positions may be assigned to multiple departments and divisions in support of a variety of projects and work duties in a limited-term or temporary capacity. Positions require specific program and/or work product knowledge which is typically associated to prior service with the City of Bakersfield or a closely related municipal or government agency. Those returning will readily be able to assist with limited-term assignments or specific intermittent projects while providing a continuance of services and limiting workflow disruptions due to staffing vacancies. Retired annuitants have specific employment conditions regulated by the California Public Employees' Retirement System (Cal.
