DescriptionPurposeTRP is a preferred global retail partner that will be opening and operating stores across the US and beyond.We are looking for a hardworking, goal-oriented individual to join our trim/packaging department. Extract trimmers/packagers are responsible for executing production plans in keeping with the Company's operating procedures. Extract trimmers/packagers carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the medical Cannabis production cycle.Core ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting for fresh frozen, shucking dried and cured material, jarring extracts, applying labels, packaging derivative products, and packaging flower (as needed).Consistently perform daily work in extract trim/packaging areas such as removing buds from stalks, visually inspecting the buds, hand trimming, daily cleaning tasks and basic record keepingWeighing out productLabeling jars, boxes, and mylar bagsPackaging product into jars, boxes, and mylar bagsMust understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and laws is appreciatedSkill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processedMaintain a clean and organized work environmentFollow Company SOP's and comply with all safety regulationsLearn and apply safe and effective commercial marijuana processing techniquesComplete assigned duties within established timeframeWilling to perform other duties as assignedPhysical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of extraction areas and cultivation warehouseQualifications:Required:Passion for and knowledgeable about CannabisPassion for cannabis CultureExcellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesAble to clearly outline objectives, and create, assess and evaluate timelinesConsistently delivers high-quality outputs with strong attention to detail.Competencies:Thorough understanding of the Cannabis industryCommunication ProficiencyEthical ConductRelationship ManagementPersonal Effectiveness/CredibilityWork Environment:This job operates in a cGMP inspected manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses gloves and scissors, and employees are required to wear coveralls, hairnets, and other PPE, including at times, face covers. This position regularly requires long hours. Weekend work opportunities are available and, at times, may be required.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position.
