EXTRUDER HELPERMonday - Friday10:00 pm - 6:30 am$17.50 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSSupport extrusion activities based on production schedule to include the extruder, the dryer, the coating room, and the meat roomAdhere to standard operating procedure for manufacturing of pet food and all controlsSupport testing production to make sure quality standards are being upheldReport issues with equipment and escalate as necessaryMonitors meat inclusion as necessaryMonitor hourly KPIs and report out based on production output and downtimeClean all responsible areas as indicated by 5S or supervision directionOrganize meat inclusion to ensure FIFO processAssist extruder operator as neededJOB REQUIREMENTSGED, High School diploma or equivalentOSHA forklift certificationManufacturing experience in pet food or similar industry is a plusAbility to assess equipment and maintenance / trouble shoot mechanical failures preferredAbility to lift and carry up to50lbsMandatory overtime
