Extrusion machine operator - Randstad : Job Details

This is an Intermediate level position with at least 2 years of experience needed. This is a great opportunity to utilize your skills and learn new skills to improve your craft.salary: $37,440 - $41,600 per yearshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 11 PMeducation: No Degree RequiredResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Strictly adheres to Company and plant safety policies and procedures Completes all annual training as required Maintain and enforce a safe, clean work environment Select machine dies Determine setup procedures Reel extruded products into rolls or reels Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels Replace worn dies Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings and temperature Synchronize speed of extrusion Read and interpret blueprints and drawings Locate defects on extruded parts troubleshooting Check for conformance to specifications Record product measurements Adjust controls as necessary Install, connect, test, and adjust equipment String up lines Clean tools and tooling Operate extruders Other duties as assigned The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 35lbsSkillsMoldingTrimmingHand ToolsMath and CalculationExtrusionMonitoringBasic Computer SkillsISO 9001calipersSettingTendingtoolingMaintenanceOrder ProcessingBlueprint ReadingQualificationsYears of experience: 2 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
