Exciting career opportunity in Lancaster, SC for an Extrusion Team Lead, offering immense growth potential! Join our dynamic team as the Extrusion Team Lead, where you'll operate machines and oversee material handling around the extruders to ensure peak efficiency. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards and performance requirements, all while championing workplace safety. RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Operate all extrusion-related equipment efficiently and safely.
• Load and unload raw materials and fabrics into the machine, ensuring proper handling and placement.
• Inspect products for quality defects, documenting findings and collaborating with QA to uphold quality control standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, including detailed data entry into the Manufacturing Operating System.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly, strictly adhering to all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents.
• Oversee the entire extrusion line to ensure optimal performance, adjusting as needed to maintain efficiency.
• Work closely with supervision and maintenance teams to promptly report and address any line issues, minimizing downtime.
• Adhere to all practices, policies, and procedures according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to new team members on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.

QUALIFICATION:

• Must have 3+ years operating extrusion machinery or relevant experience
• Must be able to read and understand English
• Must be able to use standard ruler and metric system.
• GED/or High School Diploma
