Odawa Casino ResortJob DescriptionJob Title:F&B BusserReports To: F&B Services SupervisorDepartment:Food & BeverageMinimum Pay Rate:$16.00 per hourJob Code:BUSSERPay Grade:FB3Date Written:07/31/2008Revision Date:08/21/2024Job Summary: Performs any combination of the following duties to support service staff ensuring that the dining areas are sanitary and attractive.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:* Greet all guests and Team Members in a friendly, open manner.* Conducts oneself in a positive and professional manner, acting as a role model for all Team Members.* Maintains knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions and events at Odawa Casino Resort.* Sets bus carts up at beginning of shift and breaks down and cleans the bus cart at the end of their shift.* Reduce turnover time keeping tables readily available for incoming guests.* Removes dirty plates, glasses, cutlery, etc., and napkins from tables after diners are done eating.* Wipes up spills, table tops and chairs in dining area, using damp sanitized cloth.* Sweeps and mops floors as directed by supervisor.* Helps maintain par levels of supplies for dining area.* Replenish fruits for garnish, glassware, silverware, paper supplies and other items to their designated places.* Wipe down walls by bus cart and the bus cart as necessary and at the end of the shift.* Abides by all health codes and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area.* Returns empty beer bottles at end of the shift to the loading dock.* Must be able to maintain neat and well-groomed appearance in accordance with our grooming and appearance standards.* Attends all meetings as required.* Completes all required training satisfactorily.* Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality.* Works at other properties as needed.* Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.Upholds Odawa Casino Mission statement in all aspects of position:Mission:We create excitement and memories.Values:We create a culture that provides:* A fun, rewarding, safe, and consistent environment for our Team Members.* A warm reception, welcoming environment, and friendly atmosphere.* An optimal entertainment experience through exceptional service.* Support for the Waganakising Odawak values through Wisdom, Love, Respect, Bravery, Honesty, Humility, and Truth.* A contribution and connection to the community.System Access: NonePreference: Applies to Native Americans in accordance with applicable tribal law.Minimum Qualifications:* Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.* Must be at least 18 years of age.* Excellent customer service skills.* Must be flexible with shift and days off with ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, special events, etc., as needed.* Must be able to meet physical requirement such as significant lifting up to fifty (50) lbs., along with bending, reaching, stopping, pushing, and pulling.* You may be required to pass a skills assessment test to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications of the position.* Exposure to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke-filled environment.* Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission, and be able to serve in the position under any other applicable law.
