Job Description :
Fabric Technicians are responsible for using various materials to form parts based on customer specifications. They should always confirm that the correct materials are being used, read, initial, and follow planners and work orders.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Layup various materials to form parts based on customer specifications within labor targets.
  • Ensure that molds are properly cleaned prior to layup.
  • Verify material kits and backing.
  • Monitor and record material out times.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual, and reliable attendance as set by the supervisor according to handbook guidelines consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Abide by all safety, quality, personnel, and other policies as applicable.
Marginal Work Requirements:
  • Specification testing per customer and certification requirements.
  • Cross-training as determined by manufacturing department and shop managers.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company.
  • Be actively engaged in the department's 6S program and complete all necessary paperwork.
