  • Inspection Duties: Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of all inspections, tests, and quality checks performed, ensuring traceability and accountability.
  • Problem Identification: Identify quality issues or non-conformities in products, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with the fabrication team to implement solutions.
  • Procedure Development: Assist in the creation and updating of inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists to enhance the quality control process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fabricators, engineers, and other team members to address quality concerns and promote continuous improvement.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of quality control experience in fabrication, with a strong background in performing detailed inspections.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols; adept in using a variety of measuring instruments and tools.
  • Quality Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and their application in a manufacturing setting.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with quality control software is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail, ensuring all products meet stringent quality standards.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to effectively collaborate with team members and document findings.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to evaluate issues, recommend corrective actions, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
