Fabricator - Capital Industries : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding components to produce high-quality products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding specifications.
• Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate components and assemblies.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces before welding.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary adjustments to processes.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and efficiency goals.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of projects and materials used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Skill Requirements

• Previous experience as a welding fabricator or similar role.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and knowledge of welding safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in welding preferred.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise and welding fumes.
• May require standing for extended periods and working in various positions.

Compensation details: 17-24 Hourly Wage
