Job Title
Facilities Administrator - Irvine, CA
Job Overview:
As a Facilities Administrator, you will promote and maintain safe, secure, comfortable, environmentally sustainable, and well-functioning workplaces. Part of your job will be to collaborate with other teams and sites to standardize practices as much as reasonably possible and implement initiatives put forward by our head offices. Ultimately, you'll help the workflow of our employees, customers, and guests by getting the most out of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily building operations, including infrastructure, grounds, and staff management.
* Ensure Irvine office facilities are clean, organized, and pest-free.
* Address and resolve facilities-related complaints from Irvine users.
* Plan and execute preventive maintenance for all facilities.
* Coordinate and implement corrective maintenance actions.
* Manage and support security systems across all Irvine locations (office and service center).
* Restock supplies in breakroom, caf areas, vending machines, print centers, quiet room, medical cabinets, and restrooms.
* Procure and manage facilities supplies for various areas and janitorial needs.
* Maintain facilities equipment (coffee machines, vending machines, refrigerators, microwaves, etc.) in working order.
* Administer vendor management for all Irvine sites.
* Coordinate with landlords (Irvine Company) as needed.
* Track facility maintenance and update the system regularly.
* Organize bi-weekly breakfast.
* Support sustainability initiatives across Irvine locations.
* Handle new hire onboarding, including setup and orientation.
* Manage desk allocations for employees.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 2+ years' experience in office support, managing role, or logistics
* Experience in vendor relationship management
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Excellent organizational skills, and written and verbal communication
* Familiarity with continuous improvements and methods such as Lean and Six Sigma strongly preferred
Salary Range:
The anticipated salary range for candidates working in Irvine, CA is $58,000-$70,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
