Recovery Monitoring Solutions, a leading provider of treatment and offender monitoring services, with corporate offices in Dallas, TX, is looking for a full-time Facilities Assistant to maintain the company buildings, grounds, vehicles, machines, and facility equipment. Light shipping and receiving and inventory duties as well.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Troubleshoot minor malfunctions of electrical, structural, plumbing, and facility equipment.
* Transport equipment and materials necessary for project completion from supplier outlets to job site.
* Perform general preventive and corrective building maintenance duties.
* Complete routine plumbing services involving common water leaks, clogged drains, etc.
* Perform general building remodeling and refurbishment involving repair, replacement, and installation of electrical wiring, drywall, plaster, doors, locks, etc.
* Assemble, relocate, and arrange furniture, cubicles, and decorations for individual offices and meeting rooms.
* Maintain landscape, cleanliness, and code compliance of facility grounds. inspect and service electrical generator.
* Coordinate routine maintenance of company vehicles.
* Perform light shipping, receiving, and inventory duties.
* Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bend stoop, lift objects up to 100 lbs., and maintain mobility necessary to perform minimum functions associated with the position.
* Minimum of 3 years general building maintenance experience.
* Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies in a timely manner.
* Valid Texas driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
* Basic knowledge in Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
