Facilities Assistant - Yoh : Job Details

Facilities Assistant needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Glenview, IL. The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

• Associate's degree in facilities management, business or related field
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience, preferably in commercial or industrial real estate with facility management experience required
• Pay: $28 - $32/hr; depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with policies and management directives.
• Ensure all contracts are reviewed on a regular basis and confirm invoices match contract pricing.
• Supervise all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the property.
• Under the direction of the Facility Manager, respond promptly to requests for building maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, etc. from building occupants.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Associate's degree in facilities management, business or related field
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience, preferably in commercial or industrial real estate with facility management experience required

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Industry Experience: Experience in the food industry is a plus
• Research and Development or Manufacturing Experience: Preferred background in R&D or manufacturing.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation and building management preferred
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience is preferred
