About The RoleWe are seeking a Facilities Coordinator who will support all facets of the day-to-day operations and projects within the Facilities department and throughout all Credit Union locations. Under the direction of the Director, Facilities, this position will be responsible for the operational integrity and maintenance of facilities systems and processes, including managing escalated issues and seeing them through resolution. Additional responsibilities include implementing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures, and coordinating minor projects within budget, as assigned by the Director, Facilities. This role will also serve as a backup for the functions performed by the Facilities Service Specialists.This is an onsite position based out of our corporate office in Ventura, CA. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Occasional after-hours support and/or travel to branch locations may be required. What You'll Do
- Provide 2nd line support for organizational requests for facility-related assistance and/or maintenance requests.
- Manage and maintain Facilities technology platforms, including the key management system, alarm code and access control credentials, alarm call lists, CCTV system, and physical document database.
- Serve as a key holder for the corporate office building. May be required to open and/or close the building in accordance with established procedures.
- Serve as an after-hours contact for building security related calls and incidents. On occasion, provide after-hours access to vendors performing work that would be too disruptive to operations during normal business hours.
- Assist within maintaining the function and appearance of the Credit Union buildings, systems, furnishings and fixtures. Assist with oversight of facilities maintenance activities, including scheduling equipment maintenance and repairs with vendors. Solicits bids and perform site walks with vendors for minor repair and improvement projects.
- Establish and maintain good relations with contractors, facility managers, realtors and other vendors, which are critical to facilities areas on assigned projects.
- Responsible for department compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Offer facilities support to other divisions as assigned by the Director, Facilities and/or a member of Senior Management.
What We're Seeking
- 3+ years' experience in facilities operations, specifically in a corporate office environment. Proven experience in coordinating maintenance, safety, and operations of facilities.
- Working experience in interacting with vendors, contractors, and building management.
- High School Diploma/GED required. College degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of computer software, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn new software applications.
