We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.Koniag Government Services is seeking the highest quality candidates for the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) in support of the direct care and supervision (DCS) and facilities maintenance (FM) services at the 800-bed influx care facility (ICF) in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Koniag Team will provide direct care to unaccompanied children ages 13-17 years), ensuring all personnel, services, and resources necessary to provide for the care and supervision of unaccompanied children housed at the ICF as specified by HHS ORR and ensuring required corresponding regulatory and statutory guidance are met.The Facilities Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for the maintenance of the entire ICF to include, 15 dormitories, several administration buildings, warehouses, two two-story classroom buildings, gymnasium, w/ indoor pool and several sport fields, medical clinic, and dining facility in support of care for HHS ORR.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: - Manage and maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and machinery at the ICF.
- Coordinate with contractors and ensures building safety and adherence to applicable building codes.
- Plans utilization of space and facilities consistent with requirements for efficiency, and available facilities and funds
- Ensure project requirements are defined, contract and contract changes, proposed operating budgets established, and recommended financial terms/conditions of contract are identified. Keeps in compliance with and abreast of all OSHA regulations.
- Manage and implement energy management/utility consumption improvement programs. Performs environmental hazard management/planning and remediation. Establishes and maintains equipment and system standards.
- Implement policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected. Ensures maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements.
- Establish objectives and directs staff activities to improve smart hands support practices in the areas of quality, knowledge centered support and resolution timeframes. Coordinates customer service activities with other internal functions.
- Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e., hires, trains, schedules, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.), Utilize existing tools to manage the data center critical infrastructure, loading dock, and IT raised floor spaces.
Qualifications: - 10 years of professional experience
- 7 years of experience in project and program management.
- Preferred- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Proven experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders and vendors accountable for delivering interrelated services.
