The Maintenance Mechanic 1 role performs general routine, preventive and corrective maintenance on various systems and equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic 1 role conducts complete operational and service maintenance and inspection of equipment to insure safe, efficient and economical operation of all areas of facilities. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:CFC Refrigerant Certification (Type I or II or III or Universal) preferred. Valid Virginia Drivers License and acceptable drivers record preferred. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:Current CFC Refrigerant Certification (Type I, II, III or Universal) preferred. Current Virginia Drivers License and acceptable drivers record if required to drive VCUHS vehicles.
