JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing and executing daily facilities operations for the Creative Studios and Costuming buildings, ensuring compliance with Company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality. Perform skilled tasks in general maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance and cleanliness issues. Escalate matters beyond scope to management promptly.
  • Monitor and oversee maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution of all issues. Perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facility equipment, including HVAC systems, elevators, and vertical mast lifts. Develop and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule for internal and external services.
  • Ensure compliance with vendor contracts. Obtain quotes, schedule inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance with external vendors, and communicate necessary notices to staff in advance.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance and custodial supplies. Submit purchase requests to ensure par levels are met within budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to evaluate and enhance operational processes and optimize physical spaces.
  • Stay current on all facility emergency procedures and provide support as needed. Serve in a leadership or deputy role during emergency situations as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: High School Diploma

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Trade school certificate in facilities maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and skills

EXPERIENCE

  • 4 years' experience in a facilities, maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical role.
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • Proven leadership, time management, and multitasking skills, with the flexibility to adjust priorities to meet dynamic business needs.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices, as well as applicable regulations.
  • Expertise in budgeting and performance-based maintenance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Availability for on-call support during emergencies.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Clean, Valid and Current Driver's License required.
