As part of the Facility Management group, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist (technician) will support the Jack Henry building locations in Lenexa, KS and Shawnee, KS. The primary focus is on proactive and predictive maintenance, as well as interior and exterior repair projects to ensure consistent and reliable building availability. This candidate will resolve challenging building issues, develop, and document processes, and manage operating budgets. In addition, the technician will work with the other department leaders in providing extraordinary customer and employee experiences.
This position will be onsite supporting the following Jack Henry office locations: Lenexa, KS / Shawnee, KS . Salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 depending on candidate experience and geographic location.
What you'll be responsible for:
* Perform general maintenance and repair duties including light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and arranging furniture and partitions.
* Assist employees with internal relocations by moving and arranging furniture, partitions, and other equipment according to specific directions.
* Assists other Facilities Maintenance Specialists or outside contractors with electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance and servicing.
* Maintains schedule of required maintenance and inspection of building equipment and systems.
* Assists with scheduling and training of less experienced facilities maintenance specialists.
* Oversees specialized outside contractors.
* Performs tasks that utilize formal training in one or more trades.
* May perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
* Must have 4 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a commercial office setting support any combination of the following categories: BAS (Building Automation System) / HVAC / Plumbing and electrical.
* Must be able to work on Saturdays occasionally for preventative maintenance work.
* Will be required to support 2 Jack Henry office locations: Lenexa, KS / Shawnee, KS. A vehicle is provided to travel between the 2 sites.

* Certifications related to HVAC / Electrical or Pluming
* Boilers License
* Military experience
