Facilities Maintenance Worker - City of Leavenworth : Job Details

The City of Leavenworth, an equal opportunity employer, is now accepting applications for a Facility Maintenance Worker position. This position is full-time/permanent, union-covered, and requires weekends. The salary range for this position is between $5,073 - $5,713 per month; the starting salary is based on qualifications and experience.

Excellent benefits including 100% employer-paid, family medical/dental/vision plan premium, $80 employer HRA contribution per month, 1 day each of vacation and sick leave per month, 11.5 holidays plus 2 floating holidays per year, DRS retirement plan, and comp time/overtime accrual.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age and a valid Washington State driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the City.

Individuals must be able to work weekends, holidays, and required overtime. Duties involve performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the repair and maintenance of city-owned properties and related duties as assigned including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks. On occasion may be required to assist with other departmental responsibilities. This may include assisting with park maintenance activities, utility emergency repairs, snow removal, traffic control, etc.
