This position provides facilities support to one or more WellMed markets. This position identifies, researches, and resolves facilities problems outside of ordinary maintenance. Responds to requests by e-mail or telephone for facilities support. Documents, tracks, and monitors assigned requests to ensure resolution in a timely manner. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Facilitates smooth opening/transition of new and/or acquired sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership of facilities in assigned market(s)
  • Manages assigned work orders in ServiceNow (or other software). Completes notes and closes work orders to customer's satisfaction
  • Responds to telephone calls and e-mails for facilities support, ensuring steady communication with customers. Escalates issues to management when necessary
  • Orders materials and services when needed, obtaining appropriate approvals when necessary.
  • Monitors construction projects where assigned for timely startup of services
  • Coordinates and manages staff relocations as assigned. Provides necessary information to other departments in a timely manner to ensure success of activities
  • Monitors performance of service providers and material suppliers. Facilitates or participates in performance improvement and re-sourcing activities where applicable
  • Maintain good relationships with IT and Integrations staff
  • Oversees minor renovation projects
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (4+ years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • 4+ years of experience in facilities support
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literacy to include MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Proven ability to prioritize and organize work orders
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability and willingness to work irregular hours on occasion
  • Ability and willingness to travel (25%)
  • This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Facilities maintenance experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow application
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Frequently moves heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds or using up to 50 pounds of force
  • Must be able to maintain a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other machinery
  • Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle
  • Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
