The Facilities Manager maintains and oversees the Warehouse Division's buildings, facilities, and grounds to ensure that the workspace is safe and functional. Their duties include negotiating contracts with service providers, working with contractors and sub-contractors, assisting company personnel at all locations, inspecting facilities to meet applicable regulations, as well as coordinating renovations and updates.Summary of Essential Job FunctionsTrack and manage projects across all Warehouse Division locations, ensuring the planning and organization of the division's resources are being utilized in an effective manner to move tasks, events, or duties towards completion. Develop comprehensive plans and budgets for each area of responsibility to include maintenance intervals, asset replacement schedules and multi-year projects.Oversee general building repair and maintenance, assist in project management, up-keep of facilities, maintenance of sprinkler systems and maintain records in support of such duties.Coordinate with Plant Managers and the Warehouse Operations Coordinator to identify major repairs and capital expenditure needs in areas of oversite. Coordinate with Plant Managers and the Warehouse Operations Coordinator to determine what personnel resources, both staff and non-staff, will be needed to perform the tasks. Travel to all warehouse facilities a minimum of bi-monthly, more often if necessary to monitor areas of oversight. Permanent Member of the Safety Committee.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
