Job DetailsJob Details:We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Facilities Manager to join our team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that they meet safety and operational standards. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong technical background in various areas such as electrical controls, machine maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and HVAC systems. If you're a problem-solver who loves working in a fast-paced environment, then we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities:1. Oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities.2. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.3. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.4. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.5. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.6. Ensure that all mechanical systems, such as chillers, air conditioning, and refrigeration, are functioning efficiently.7. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.8. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.9. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.Qualifications:1. Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or relevant position (5+ years).2. Proven experience in the following areas: Repair, Electrical Controls, Machine Maintenance Tech, Mechanical Maintenance, Cooling, Chillers, Equipment, Air Conditioning, Carpentry, Piping, Food Processing, Hydraulic, Refrigeration, HVAC Systems, Electrical Troubleshooting, Motors.3. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations.4. Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.6. Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.7. Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration or relevant field will be a plus.8. BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field.9. Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage.10. Valid Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) will be a plus.Interested in hearing more?
