The Facilities Manager maintains and oversees Acreage NJ CCF's cultivation and processing facility, equipment, grounds and retail locations – for safe and effective – work conditions and environment. Possesses the knowledge and ability to perform semi-skilled and skilled technical repairs and maintenance work on the facility and retail locations – including ongoing building maintenance and equipment, plumbing and electrical repair work. This position reports to the National Director, Facilities Management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Leads and monitors – regularly scheduled inspections – for maintenance and safety procedures, routine repairs and trouble shooting, as necessary to ensure that all structure(s) and operating systems are in good working order.
· Performs corrective and preventive maintenance and repairs in order to identify potential issues before they become costly problems.
· Engages and negotiates with external contractors and licensed tradesmen – on large scale projects – with management review and approval
· Establishes and manages SOPs for maintenance, sanitation, core services and waste management.
· Maintains the inventory, storage and distribution of all supplies and equipment
· Provides recommendations for new, value-add equipment. Manages the installation, testing and maintenance of this equipment
· Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement to help enhance functionality, efficiency and sustainability of our fixed assets
· Leads, trains and develops members of the NJ CCF Facilities' team
· Maintains current knowledge of and compliance with all state regulations, Acreage policies and procedures. Creates and maintains a system for maintaining warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements and contracts for all of our fixed assets
· Perform related duties, as assigned by the National Director, Facilities Mgmt
Qualifications
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· HVAC experience required
· Experience in construction and knowledge of the use and care of commonly used equipment and tools – Preferred
· Strong experience with preventive maintenance, planning and execution - Preferred
· 5 or more years facilities management experience

Manufacturing environment, which requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching. Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs for up to a distance of 100ft may be required. Extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
