The Facilities Manager will lead Aramark service delivery on Facilities Management Contracts. They will use their experience and skills to deliver services to the client in an efficient and innovative way and where necessary provide the direction required to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standard in orderto maximize contract growth and ensuring contract retention by ensuring Aramark becomes a valued partner.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plans and administers all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services and compliance with the standards established by ARAMARK, regulatory agencies and client.
  • Delivers strong operational performance by executing against Aramark, client, government and other regulatory agency standards and programs, continually monitoring operations and completing assessments and necessary action plans to provide an optimal, proactive, safely operating facility maintenance program which drives Client satisfaction
  • Ensures compliance with appropriate safety and regulatory standards by appropriate local agencies
  • Oversight of all site utility systems to include electrical, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, water treatment, energy management, and fire safety
  • Oversee a staff 20-22 hourly associates
  • Rewards and recognizes employees
  • Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization, including conducting rounding. Identifies Aramark service expansion opportunities
  • Manages performance for all Facility and Maintenance Supervisors and front-line employees, ensuring employee development, engagement and compliance with human resource related policies and standards, including conducting applicable rounding
  • Leads, mentors, engages and develops teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance
  • Develops operational component forecasts and can explain variances
  • Ensures consistent application and regular use of Aramark's workorder management systems to properly manage the operation
  • Ensures compliance with all contract obligations
  • Vendor management

Qualifications
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires 3-5 years of facility/Manufacturing maintenance management experience
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
  • Knowledgeable of all regulatory compliance requirement
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Track record of people management and development
  • Requires Budgeting experience
  • Working knowledge and appropriate preventive maintenance of building systems (i.e., boilers, chillers, generators, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC/R)
  • Certified HVAC Technician, Licensed Plumber, Certified Electrician or similar trades certification or license is highly desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent customer services skills.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly
  • Microsoft office programs
  • Creative and flexible in demeanor and style to adapt to new situations in a constantly evolving, dynamic environment
