We are seeking candidates for the position of Facilities Program Manager (6025) in the Stations & Cleaning. Opening Date: 01/15/2025 Closing Date: 01/22/2025 Job Grade: SAM 38 Salary Range: Min: $70,668.00 - Mid: $88,348.00 - Max: $106,028.00 OVERALL DESCRIPTION Develops, coordinates, monitors and reports on critical Facilities Programs focused on technical, safety, or operational priorities, keeping them productive and on schedule. Leads the planning and documentation of the annual ISRP program. Track and report on program execution. Identifies problems with schedule or resources and develops and submits plans for correction to the chain of command. Prepare prioritized listing of critical safety items abased on inspections, develops coordinated plans to correct defects, and monitors completion of this high priority work. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develops program plans and budgets for major projects both Capital (ISRP) and Operating (“Blitz” projects, seasonal cleaning/maintenance of certain facilities).
  • Tracks and reports on progress of major projects. Assures that resources (manpower via pickings, and materials via procurement) are acquired, allocated, and deployed according to project schedules.
  • Coordinates the efforts of multiple work groups (and groups from other departments, if involved) on large projects.
  • Acts as liaison with Legal/Claims Department. Conducts investigations into Facility conditions to provide Legal with information relevant to claims cases. Utilizes data developed by Claims to identify trends and take corrective inspection/maintenance action to reduce claims against SEPTA. Maintains records and reports as required on major incidents/accidents.
  • Coordinates the development of trade labor shift schedules. Represents management at Union job picking meetings.
  • Coordinates Snow fighting activity for forces.
  • Consolidates performance data on all aspects of work into Monthly Management Report. Actual performance against plan is measured and reported for routine service calls and work orders, Scheduled PM, special operating projects and safety initiatives, and Capital projects.
  • Complies with all Authority and departmental safety and security policies and procedures as well as all applicable job safety responsibilities. Reports any safety concerns, compromises or hazards affecting operations, the public, self and/or other employees. Responsible for personal safety and is encouraged to promote the safety of others.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
    • Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years project management or facility maintenance or construction program experience required.
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (one (1) year of post-high school education equating to two (2) years of experience) in lieu of the above requirements.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
    • Excellent PC skills required. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite.
    • Must be available for off hours and inclement weather work (snow duty and emergency weather call-outs)
    • Valid Driver License required.
    • Experience in data analytics and reporting is preferred.
