SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is responsible for overall management of end to end facilities projects for Teachers. Manages facility design and construction scheduling to ensure organizational needs are met. Interacts with the architects, engineers, expeditors, town municipalities, permitting, contractor or construction team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.

Works cross functionally with internal teammates and external vendors to scope projects, send for bid proposal, create and regularly update project plans, track project progress and budget, maintain and communicate detailed risk logs, and create and present management reports on project outcome and status.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

* Associate's Degree in related field (business administration, IT, engineering, or related analytical field) preferred with minimum five years of directly related experience.

* Facilities, and/or operations experience preferred

* Experience in process design and process improvement preferred

* Project management experience preferred

* PMP and/or CSM certification(s) preferred

JOB DUTIES:

* Develop detailed facilities project plans to effectively monitor progress

* Communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis

* Establish and direct project scope and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensuring technical feasibility

* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project plan

* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

* Own the project risk identification and mitigation process

* Develop templates and documentation to support consistency within Facilities protocols

* Ensure that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met

* Actively monitor and help create annual Facilities budget

* Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, assist in implementing priorities, and resolve conflicts regarding the requirements and solutions

* Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

* Ability to lead diverse team members, influence disparate stakeholder groups and align them toward common goals and outcomes

* Ability to lead and influence all project stakeholders to deliver projects and programs on time and on budget

* Ability to collaborate with all internal and external business partners to understand, interpret, and fully document scope, solutions, constraints, and risks

* Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaboratively, or leading a team while remaining agile and flexible in a rapidly changing environment and managing multiple competing priorities

Proficiencies:

* Estimating, Production planning

* Construction management | project scheduling

* Experience with project management tools; Smartsheet admin experience

* Familiarity with Google's Suite of Office Applications

* Microsoft Word and Excel

The good faith range for this position is $81,005.19 - $97,206.12 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
