Job DetailsJob LocationHowell Campus - Howell, MIPosition TypeFull TimeDescriptionFacilities SpecialistJOB DESCRIPTION | SUMMARY: Maintain University facilities including but not limited to student housing and common areas, classrooms, offices, bathrooms and banquet facilities. Perform custodial tasks and minor maintenance and building repairs. Assistance with athletic and stadium grounds when necessary. Waste removal, recycling and maintenance facilities on campus. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Keep grounds maintainedPerform minor repairs to include but not limited to building electrical, plumbing, general carpentry, paint, dry wall, and heating and coolingPerform custodial functions as necessary to maintain clean buildingsProvide campus security as needed, respond to alarm alertsRespond to requests and support University staff/students/customers in a timely mannerRelocate furniture, equipment and supplies in and around campusQualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
