The Facilities Supervisor is a technical-level position requiring facility operations experience that will support the needs of all Reno properties. Responsibilities include overseeing support staff, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, special projects, and overall facility operations. Candidates should have a solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems, HVAC systems, carpentry and other crafts, plus be well-versed in OSHA safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting, and managing vendor relationships.

Physical Demands
The physical demands of the position are those normally associated with maintenance and repair operations including extensive physical efforts such as lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects, walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching and climbing stairways and ladders. The incumbent may be required to enter confined spaces, work from ladders and scaffolding. The use and control of powered equipment is required while instructing subordinates. The incumbent will occasionally lift and carry tools, equipment, and parts that weigh up to 20 pounds and, less often, up to 40 pounds. Occasionally, they lift or move with assistance moderately heavy objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
