Job Description :
Responsibilities As a Facility Technician, some of your essential duties and responsibilities may include:
  • Understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
  • Support installation, assembly, and testing of new equipment.
  • Demonstrate ability to read Tape measures.
  • Inspect facility equipment and tools regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises, and conducting scheduled testing when appropriate.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance for supporting equipment with department.
  • Operate forklift, manlift, floor stripping machine, and floor scrubber.
  • Operate welder, cutting saws, pipe threading machine, etc.
  • Use and understand a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
  • Complete written record of work performed.
  • Support operational request for Duracell Work System tools and applications.
  • Support other departments such as Engineering, Operations and Technical
Qualifications You may fit well into this role if you:
  • Technical facility experience
  • Ability to walk, stand and lift heavy objects for an extended amount of time.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as an acute attention to detail.
  • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical or engineering specialties preferred or minimum of 3 years industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required
