DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for a talented Custodian to join our Team at our Hodgkins, IL.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Performs routine building maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.Assists in a wide variety of maintenance activities.Addresses immediate operational and/or safety concerns' Maintains safe work habits and actions in all aspects of the daily task.Evaluates reactive work for safety issues, plan projects so that safety is key, and reviews preventative work for any unforeseen items that may present safety hurdles.RESPONSIBILITIESTo be successful in this role you will need the following:High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.A current valid license is required for this roleMust be 21 years old with 2 years driving experienceThis role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violationsDeveloping and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.QUALIFICATIONSExperience:Basic Electrical Knowledge: Understanding circuits, wiring, and how to troubleshoot electrical issues safely.Plumbing Skills: Familiarity with pipe systems, drainage, and repair techniques for leaks and clogs.Handyman Skills: Proficiency in basic carpentry, drywall repair, and general building maintenance.Safety Procedures: Understanding safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe tool handling and Tools and Equipment:Familiarity with a range of tools (hand and power tools) and how to use and maintain them safely.Compensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
