You Will:

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining dnatas facilities (i.e. offices, staff resting areas, workshop areas, common areas , etc.) and ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. You will handle a variety of tasks ranging from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, contributing to the overall functionality and cleanliness.

This role plays a critical part in the continued success of the company and the safety of its team members.

  • Perform routine walkaround inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly while ensuring compliance with USA OSHA standards.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Respond to maintenance requests from dnata staff and/or tenants.
  • Preparing and completing electronic work orders.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of facility maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services (i.e. first aid & eye wash station maintenance, water dispenser service, sprinkler system maintenance, etc).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workshop areas and equipment, following OSHA guidelines for hazardous material handling and disposal.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Maintain company equipment; to be kept in clean, orderly, and functioning condition.
  • Read and understand Manufacturer provided literature and schematics for building systems.
  • Routinely required to work under inclement weather conditions.
  • Promote a safe work environment, and comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Able to meet the Stations attendance standards.
You Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in facilities maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Facility Technician or similar role (2+ years).
  • Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems with a solid understanding of USA OSHA standards (Certification Preferred).
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Own necessary tools to complete work assigned.
  • Possess/maintain FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
  • A valid state drivers license (Preferred)
  • Professional and detail-oriented thought process.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy items of 75 pounds or more; as well as bending standing, climbing, or walking.
  • Able to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • Must be able to work safely in an environment containing chemicals, cleaning materials, dust, and noise.
