Job Description :

Job scope

* Manage work orders to repair, monitor and replace various major building finishes

* Provide facilities inspections to include regular maintenance and replacement services

* Provide year-round facilities support to Tacala restaurants and the Restaurant Support Center

* Establish and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with field and support personnel

* Meet standards set by Tacala for all areas of responsibility

* Company vehicle provided for travel (less than 10% overnight travel)

Core Responsibilities

* Ensure all Issuetrak tickets assigned are completed in a timely manner

* Communicate with vendors on active work orders

* Use discretion and independent judgement for budget guidelines and R&M building repairs

* Coordinate with vendors and restaurant staff to establish on-site repairs and replacement

* Travel to restaurants to complete inspections and complete repairs as needed

* Work with field during regulatory visits that require urgent attention on building repairs

* Point of Contact for all storm and fire related damage to ensure prompt emergency repair and long-term solutions

* Maintain the latest specifications of all Taco Bell standards and ensure all our restaurants are compliant

* Other miscellaneous duties within the Facilities department as needed

Job Qualifications/Requirements

* Knowledge of operational services, activities, repairs and construction tasks within the QSR industry

* Prefer 2+ years of facility maintenance experience with focus on work order tracking and vendor relationships

* Have strong understanding of technical terminology to include knowledge of proper equipment used to complete technical tasks

* Knowledge of required local, State and Federal laws, ordinances, codes as it pertains to construction practices and repairs

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships

* Effective problem-solving skills

* Self-starter with excellent time management skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work independently to maintain internal tasks

* Ability to multi-task and deliver results, meeting deadlines and targets
