Fairchild Media Group's dynamic studio team in New York City is looking for a versatile Producer / Editor with top-notch technical and people skills Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and able to meet deadlines with short turn-around times. This is a full-time position with significant advancement opportunities at one of today's fastest-growing media companies.Responsibilities:
  • Shooting events and red carpets
  • Shooting and editing studio segments with talent.
  • Archiving & organizing video material
  • Editing 3-5 videos per week (editorial & sometimes branded content).
  • Editing segments for web and broadcast delivery
  • Technical Requirements/Software Knowledge: Adobe Premiere Adobe, After Effects, Sony Ex-3 or Similar Canon EOS Cinema Cameras Other
Requirements:
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a related role
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Superb general troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Some knowledge of the fashion and entertainment industry
Typical wage range: $65k - $75k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.PMC is committed to the health and wellness of our employees.
