Fairchild Media Group's dynamic studio team in New York City is looking for a versatile Producer / Editor with top-notch technical and people skills Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and able to meet deadlines with short turn-around times. This is a full-time position with significant advancement opportunities at one of today's fastest-growing media companies.Responsibilities:
- Shooting events and red carpets
- Shooting and editing studio segments with talent.
- Archiving & organizing video material
- Editing 3-5 videos per week (editorial & sometimes branded content).
- Editing segments for web and broadcast delivery
- Technical Requirements/Software Knowledge: Adobe Premiere Adobe, After Effects, Sony Ex-3 or Similar Canon EOS Cinema Cameras Other
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a related role
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Superb general troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
- Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Some knowledge of the fashion and entertainment industry
Typical wage range: $65k - $75k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
