OverviewJob Title: Family Assistant | Companion Location: Portland, Oregon Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Assistant/Companion to support a senior couple in their home in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will provide companionship, assist with daily tasks, and ensure a comfortable living environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Light housekeeping and general tidying
• Prepare and cook healthy meals (e.g., rice, stir fry, soup)
• Drive to appointments, including doctor visits, grocery shopping, and outings
• Support in household projects as needed, coordinating with vendors (example electrician, plumber, etc)

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Chinese and conversational in English
• Previous experience in housekeeping is a PLUS
• Previous experience in caregiving a PLUS
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds and capable of safely climbing and descending stairs
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable vehicle
• Must be willing to undergo an in depth background check
• Must be local to the Portland area

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Flexibility to change hours on rare occasions

Compensation and Benefits:

• $45 per hour
