Family Assistant - Howard-Sloan Search : Job Details

Job description-Must live within 30 minutes of Palm Beach, Florida. Must have experience with maintenance.

A busy family living in Palm Beach for 8 months out of the year is seeking a Houseman. Must have experience working for UHNW family. Must have a drivers license to assist with driving.

The scope of responsibilities is broad, and will evolve as the family's needs change. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented, efficient, and a team-player. Someone who is discreet, resourceful, respectfully assertive and a natural problem solver will do best in the role. Job duties include but are not limited to:

●Maintenance and repair duties

working with vendors

● Email and task management

● Maintaining staff schedules and operations

● Coordinating and supervising vendors

● Shipping and receiving (small items as well as high value, large items)

● Record keeping

● assisting with projects and renovations at properties

● Assisting with design projects (mockups, research, project managements and communicating between parties)

● Conducting and summarizing research on various projects

● Setting up and maintaining house manuals and systems

● Basic technology set-up and troubleshooting

● Party / Event planning, set up and coordination

● Holiday planning

● Acting as gatekeeper / air traffic control / right hand for the family

● Anything else that might make the family's life easier!

The candidate must be tech proficient, especially with Apple products / iOS software

and Microsoft Office products.
