Department Olympic Area Agency on Aging Duties Provides individual counseling, support and training to unpaid caregivers through home visits, phone contacts, community education, work groups, etc.; provides information and assistance/referral services; will assess, authorize, monitor, and prioritize respite care services. Conducts community outreach and education. Specializes in eligibility determination, service authorization, and case management for consumers in the Medicaid Alternative Care (MAC) and Tailored Supports for Older Adults (TSOA) programs. May provide services to Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP), Grandparent Raising Grandchildren/ Kinship Caregivers, including, but not limited to, the Kinship Care Support Program.
