Summary of Working as a Family Development and Program Support Supervisor:
- The Family Development and Program Support Supervisor is responsible for supervising assigned staff (Family Development Specialists & Family Resource Specialists) and assisting in the management of The Baby Fold's foster care programs.
- Full time, salary/exempt, 37.5 hours or more per week, some evenings/weekends required to meet needs of clients we serve
- Pay: $66,976 - $83,720 annually, based on education, experience, and certification/licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Staff Supervision: Responsible for employment, training, supervision, support, & performance feedback. Monitors direct reports, including overseeing any program requirements.
- Program Management: Coordinates the processes of referral, intake, acceptance and discharge related to assigned program areas.
- Foster/Adoptive Parent Recruitment Coordination: Coordinates the development and implementation of training competencies for prospective and active foster and/or adoptive parents. Coordinates foster home recruitment activities in the community and through The Baby Fold's website.
- Recordkeeping: Ensures compliance with statistical, fiscal, personnel, supervisory, and case record keeping standards for assigned program areas.
- Professional Leadership: Models the agency's core values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence, stewardship and diversity in all activities and interactions.
Requirements of a Family Development and Program Support Supervisor:
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related human services field.
- Meet qualifications for licensing foster and/or adoptive homes, including passing the Child Care Act and Licensing Rule 402 exams.
- At least two years of direct foster care licensing experience required; two years of child welfare/licensing supervisory experience also preferred.
- Foundations training and CWEL in good standing preferred.
- Valid driver's license with adequate auto insurance and access to reliable vehicle.
