Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - Protouch Staffing : Job Details

* Locations Available- Please note at the time of name clear:Must be within 50 milesVES locations needed:* Marion- 1 half day neededProvider s own office locations- Provider must have their own office* Coeburn- 2 shifts per week needed* Covington- 10 shifts per week needed (multiple openings)* Hillsville- 2 shifts per week* Woodstock- 2 shifts per week neededPRN as needed.1099 compensation:-$350 for half day (4 hours)-$800 for full day (8 hours)-$650 for completing all required training and starting assignmentWilling to accept these specialties:* Family medicine* Internal medicine* Orthopedic surgery* Anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.Details:* Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing* Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc, or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.* Two (2) options for coverage - Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice* Option to work days(4-hours) and/or full days(8-hours)* One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments* Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing.* No prescribing, no treatment* Quick credentialing & onboarding* DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified* Use of Goniometer required* Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required* Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.* Own personal laptop (NO MACs)The provider will need to complete their DMA training.
